Ruben Is Me
Hi there. I'm a software engineer, but I also like to wander around and kitesurf. I grew up on the East Coast of the United States, eventually travelling to California to study at UC Berkeley, where I received a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
I worked for a long time at Google, primarily on Android (a mobile operating system) and Daydream (virtual reality headsets and other augmented reality things). Much of what I work on relates to digital photography, operating systems, photo editing, and computer graphics.
Let's make stuff. Let's not keep messing up this world. Let's be kind, but also keep things interesting.
